This new project compares the nitrogen contribution from different cover crop treatments at NWREC and in Corvallis. In the spring, different rates of feather meal will be applied to each cover crop treatment. Our goal is to compare spring broccoli quality and yield across treatments paying special attention to insect pest management. The project will continue through 2008.
